Developed in 1876, Qihong is one of the 2 most famous black tea in China, one of Top 10 famous Chinese tea. This is an exquisite black tea from Qimen town of the southern Anhui province. When brewed it has a sweet orchid aroma and a dark orange color. A harmonious combination of fruity, flowery flavors gives this tea a very unique and intriguing flavor. Qihong from China, Darjiling from India and Uva from Sri Lanka are the world's three major types of black tea. Takes milk well. Makes a bright and reddish brew. Traditionally keemun were used in English Breakfast tea.
